We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team.  It is the responsibility of this position to promote and sell hoist and rigging products through both direct contact with the sales channel and by encouraging the growth of sales through the Inside Sales Team. The Inside Sales Rep will work with the Manager of Sales Services to lead/create/and promote the growth of sales through promotions, selling initiatives, and sales coaching.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Outbound calls to designated account list, end-users and to members of the Partners in Performance program to generate sales.
-As part of the overall communications process, utilize email and social media to augment the effectiveness of phone calls to the prospects.
-Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service. 
-Utilize lead and quote generation and follow-up system to provide complete information to sales force so that business may be closed.
-Maintain record of contacts, accounts, and orders.
-Assist with uncovering needs as part of targeted programs developed by the sales and marketing group.
-Meet and exceed sales targets.
-Solidify relationships with channel partners.
-Follow incentives and promotions that meet short and long term objectives of the inside sales group.
-Follow team protocol for launching, presenting, and promoting sales initiatives.
-Partner with the Manager of Sales Services to clearly define goals and objectives for the team and develop tools to enable individual members to grow and meet goals on a regular basis.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience 
Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing, MBA preferred. Two to five years related experience and or training

Mathematical Skills 
General Microsoft Excel experience in order to analyze sales programs; monitor effectiveness of calls, and determine return on investment of various programs.

Reasoning Ability 
Ability to adjust script and direction of calls based on feedback from customer or prospect.  Basic understanding of Columbus McKinnon products and services in order to address questions from prospects.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, lead handling programs, and data mining services, and Social Media programs such as Twitter.  Ability to understand and utilize Columbus McKinnon Business System (CMBIS) and inside sales customer relationship programs to extract and maintain customer information.
