Hoists

Columbus McKinnon manufactures and markets a wide range of hoists for use in diverse applications around the world.  Powered chain and wire rope hoists, including electric and pneumatic offerings handle loads in manufacturing environments, power generations plants, and related facilities where heavy items must be lifted and positioned as part of the production or warehousing processes.  Numerous manually operated products are available, with hand chain hoists and lever tools used primarily during maintenance and construction activities.  Many hoists are available as standard "off the shelf" items, but most may be modified to meet the exact requirements of the user.  These modifications may include extra long lifts, variable frequency drives for precise positioning, and special hook/trolley configurations.  Hoists are also an integral part of overhead lifting systems that combine a crane or jib as an attachment point and also feature below the hook lifting devices for securely attaching a load.

Trolleys

Whether the job calls for a manually operated trolley or trolleys that are configured as part of a hoist/trolley combination, users have multiple choices when working with Columbus McKinnon.  In addition to standard trolleys with various attachment points and beam fittings, hoist/trolley configurations may be built for low headroom applications to meet the requirements of the user.
